Utterly lovely vintage / antique black skirt ( or possibly petticoat, but I think skirt) from about the 1910s or early 1920s. Lovely gathers on the side. Looks and feels like a silk. Has straps to go over the shoulder and a hook in the back. No label.

Great to fair vintage condition. Especially for its age. Still very wearable, though gently of course, with a bit of TLC. There are some tears and holes and places that need to be stabilized, see photos for some examples. One strap has some wear and the hook and eye could do with some stitches. But most of this seems quite sound. Priced accordingly and as is.

Measurements when lying flat and pulled taut. Doubled at waist and hip.
Waist: 34"
Hip: loose but up to about 46"
Waist to bottom hem: 35.5"
